Permanent tries to constantly work towards a more transparant and sustainable approach: a Permanent future.
We believe that we can always do better. This is what we have accomplished up until now:
A transparant pricing calculation is found in the description of every garment on our website.
We try to produce certain styles in house where we can as we would like to keep our minimum order quantity as low as possible. This concerns techniques such as screen printing, tie-dyeing, natural dyeing, garment finishing, crochet and sewing.
All information regarding the country of manufacturing, printing and labeling is shown for every garment.
We use different kind of packaging materials such as 100% compostable PLA packaging, GMO-free compostable bioplastic based on potato starch, recycled plastic, and recycled paper.
More information concerning our dyeing, printing and manufacturers can be found if you scroll down.
We produce and print our garments in different country which is written down in the description of each garment.

Our natural dyed products are always pre-treated to make sure the dye will stick to the fabric well. However, please be aware that throughout the time the colour can slightly change or fade.
The colour may react to some deodorants and detergents. This can be because some natural dyes react to different pH levels. Therefore we recommend to hand wash them with pH neutral soap. Furthermore, don't dry clean the garment.
We have used different dyes throughout our collection:
Dried Walnut Husks
We have used it to dye a t-shirt together with used ground coffee. Coffee alone is not enough as it is rather a 'stain' than a dye. This means that it would otherwise fade easily over time. Therefore, we have added Dried Walnut Husks to create a rich coffee colour.
Dried Madder Roots
Madder is one the most ancient dyes of which its existence is known. It is a versatile dye which can create beautiful red colours. We have used the Rubia Tinctorium which is harvested in Southern Europe.
Avocado stones are not a completely 'light and washfast' dye material, therefore we will not use it on its own. We have used it together with Madder Roots Extract to create pink and red shades.
Cutch extract creates brown / red colours, and is made from the wood of the Acacia Catechu tree. To create an extract the wood is soaked in water until the liquid thickens. Then it is cooled, pressed, and dried until it can be turned into powder.
We use water-based ink instead of plastisol ink for all our printed designs, whether it is DTG or screen printing. This could be found in the description of every garment on our website.
Madeira Thread is used for our embroired garments which ensures resource-saving textile production.
